Fernando Torres is a Project Engineer at BLC Builders. Fernando assists the project management team in the day-to-day items such as creating construction progress reports, managing subcontractor meetings, and safety meetings.
Fernando gained construction experience at Black Eagle Consulting where he was a lab technician preforming material testing on soils, concrete, and asphalt. Fernando also gained experience as a field agent for Black Eagle Consulting where he learned to read plans and preform on site inspections for mass grading, concrete pours, utility backfill, and asphalt paving. Fernando’s time as a field agent gave him the opportunity to be a part of many local projects as well as to become familiar with local subcontractors.
Fernando received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Reno Nevada.
