Cole Demosthenes began his BLC career as a project intern as he completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. Having graduated in 2023, Cole is now a part of the BLC team as a project engineer, where he envisions a promising future in the construction field. He aspires to explore opportunities as either an engineer or general contractor, leveraging his education, internship experiences and passion for construction to contribute to the industry’s growth and innovation. Cole’s journey in construction is a testament to his determination to build a successful career in this dynamic field.

Cole plays a crucial role in the project life-cycle of BLC projects. Currently working on The Rivet Apartment project, a hotel-to-studio apartment conversion and the new WEA Exterior Improvement project, Cole collaborates with our project management team to develop project scopes, objectives and timelines, as well as assist in the preparation of budgets, schedules, submittals and resource requirements.

Prior to his academic pursuits at UNR, Cole showcased his commitment to excellence as a Division 1 baseball player at the Cal State University of Bakersfield. His background in sports demonstrates his dedication, discipline, and teamwork skills, which are highly transferable to the construction industry.

Cole spends his free time wakeboarding, water skiing, and snow skiing.
