Jake Kockrow is a Project Manager with BLC Builders (BLC) with five plus years of heavy civil and commercial construction experience. He excels in owner and subcontractor collaboration in design-build applications to provide anenjoyable experience.
Graduating from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Construction Management in 2017, Jake began working for Granite Construction at their Santa Barbara branch where he completed multiple pavement restoration projects for the City of Santa Barbara, Goleta and CalTrans. His notable project from his time with Granite is the Hollister Class 1 Bike Path which was named the Santa Barbara County Project of the Year in 2018 by ASCE (America Society of Civil Engineers).
In 2019, Jake moved to Reno, NV to be closer to family where he went to work for Sierra Nevada Construction as a project manager. During his tenure, he completed Reno Ice, Zibco Quality Bicycle Products and NVCC Phase 4, a five-building development with over 650,000 CY of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
Jake’s dedication to each project and its personnel helps ensure that the road to project completion is smooth, streamlined, and safe.
