 Jake Kockrow 
Project Manager

Jake Kockrow is a dedicated Project Manager at BLC Builders, boasting over five years of experience in heavy civil and commercial construction. He is known for his adeptness in fostering collaboration between owners and subcontractors in design-build applications, with a focus on delivering a positive project experience. In 2017 Jake graduated from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo, earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. His areas of expertise encompass project management, field supervision, and overall project coordination.

Jake began his career in Santa Barbara where he successfully completed multiple pavement restoration projects with the City of Santa Barbara, Goleta and Caltrans when with Granite Construction. Notably, his contributions on the Hollister Class 1 Bike Path helped earn this project the elite recognition as the Santa Barbara County Project of the year in 2018 by the American Society of Civil Engineers. In 2019, Jake made the move to Reno, NV, to be closer to family and joined Sierra Nevada Construction as a project manager. During his tenure there, he oversaw projects such as Reno Ice, Zibco Quality Bicycle Products, and NVCC Phase 4, a substantial five-building development spanning over 650,000 cubic yards of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving. Jake’s dedication ensures a smooth, streamlined, and safe path to project completion.

Jake enjoys playing both hockey and golf in his free time.
